Disappointing
I had such high hopes as I absolutely love JD Kirk. This missed the mark though - irritating main character, predictable, far fetched and just - meh.
I wanted so much to love it!

Dragged
I couldn't finish this book. The premise was interesting, but the story dragged and got too boring to continue.

Gripping story and great narration

For those worried about AI
Loved listening to this and playing with the implications and of course Davis Tennant is always easy to listen to and Louisa did an awesome rendition of the ranges of her moods

OMG - WHAT A NOVEL!
I just could not stop listening .... way into the night.
It opened up a totally new chilling area of reality which should worry us all.
The plot was amazing - of course - as we have come to expect of this author. It is well thought out, convincing and gripping in its plot. The language is well chosen and well crafted
Narration by Brealey was perfect! The Incorporation of the male voice (David Tennant) added a further dimension to the created reality, adding to the believability of the plot.
Well done! A step away from the usual protagonists that JD Kirk produces, but a quality novel. Carry on up this path!

Choice of narrators, brilliant!
Compelling listening. Outstanding narration. A truly visceral story. Highly recommend. Will certainly look at this authors other work.

A slow burn with a hell of a twist
This story was incredible! I was dubious at first as the start is a slow burn and I wasn't sure what to expect, but the acting and storyline kept me enthralled, and the unexpected twists kept going to the end. Well worth listening to!

Unsettling and entirely possible fiction
The story line was believable even if fictional. The lead character annoyed me at times but she came good in the end. Narration was excellent. A change from the author’s Scottish Detective series which I love.
