Publisher's Summary

Her

Snark. Jokes. Attitude. These were all things I used to disguise the hole in my heart. I'm not a happy person. I don't live life. I just exist. That is until that beautiful man rides in on his Harley Fat Boy and burns rubber on the way into my heart.

Him

My life's been no hayride either. Everyone I've ever loved in life has died or betrayed me. So, I stay back and watch. Unless you're one of my brothers, you get nothing from me. I don't participate. I ride. I eat. I sleep. I work. And I repeat. That is until Ember stomps into my life with her bad attitude. She's all piss and vinegar, and makes me want to share my bike seat for the first time.

Together

They fight like cats and dogs. Don't see eye to eye on a single thing. They rant, rave, and yell. They bring out the best in each other. They heal each other's hearts and souls. Everything is perfect. If you didn't count a gang, one of the biggest in the South, gunning for Ember. That, or the pure evilness that is Gabe's ex-girlfriend. Gabe will have to put his life on the line to save the one woman he loves, but will it be enough?

Contains mature themes.

Weak Knees

Loving this series! From book 1 it has been hard to stop listening. Perfect combination of Make My Knees Go Weak Alpha Men, Sex, and some Goofiness in the mix. I love a strong with some soft edges female to keep the Alpha Man straight and for sure theses girls check that box.....but they tended to be a tad bit childish at times. That is really the only thing I didn’t like. The narrators are a perfect fit! I could listen to Mason Lloyd all day and night! Totally worth the credit and I cannot wait for the next one!

Another one off my favorite shelf

Ember and Gabe..... sigh 💕
This couple has a rough start and some surprising additions , but they manage to keep the ride sweet and fun. The female narrator isnt my most favorite, but the male narrator is a tried and true one who is enjoyable to listen to.

Are these people 26 or 6?

I really really dislike Ember and Cheyanne. They are supposed to be 26 year old WOMEN and yet they speak and act like adolescents. Not only that, the female narrator is just awful. She has THE WORST VOICE. Talk about cringing. I love Mason Lloyd though. He is what made the book tolerable and the one star is for him. Not sure if I will continue with this series if all the females act like this. I love the humor but I'm an adult and as an adult, I prefer adult humor, not someone who says "make me". And who says they will accept a proposal if they can have their donut? Just over these childish women in this series. Just very frustrated.

Friends to lovers. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

⚠️ Minor trigger warning for attempted rape. You could just skip the first chapter.

This is a “sexy” biker book, light on the biker aspect. The beginning was a bit slowish for me but it quickly sped up and I was hooked. I loved the banter between ember and cheyanne. It was a great story and pretty action packed.

As for narration... I feel like a jerk but I just dont like Stephanie Rose’s inflection. Two big thumbs up for Mason though!

The HEA was cute. There were some scary parts in there concerning kids but I knew my girl LLV wouldn’t make me sad and everything turns out.

It can be listened as a standalone but there is a book previous to this. That’s a good one too so check it out.

Definitely NOT disappointed.

I have listened to almost every one of Lani Lynn Vale's books and LOVE them. I listen to all my books with audible, It's all about the Narrator. Mason Lloyd's voice is hot. I enjoy Stephanie Rose when she is speaking the lines but when she reads the story portion it's way to sing-song. But don't let that stop you from listening. All Lani Lynn Vale's books ROCK!!! I was definitely NOT disappointed.
