Publisher's Summary

The third novel in Amanda Scott’s best-selling Highland series introduces an unforgettable Scottish beauty caught between two men vying for her hand.

Most Highlanders fear Black Duncan Campbell. Mary Maclaine isn’t intimidated, but she blames him for the death of his brother Ian, her first love. When Ewan, Lord MacCrichton tries to strong-arm Mary into marriage, he unknowingly forces Mary to seek aid from the man she vowed to hate forever.

The only way Duncan can convince Mary of his innocence is to find his brother’s real killers. But now she faces grave danger . . . unless Duncan can stop MacCrichton from exploiting her gift of Second Sight for his own avaricious ends. Resisting the desire that Mary arouses poses an even greater risk to Duncan. To win her trust, he has to show her that the most priceless treasure of all is the love they can find only in each other’s arms.

Book 3 is Mary's story

Another great story . Loving this series with new characters being interspersed with old favourites.

Enjoyable

More enjoyable than book two. Characters followed directly from book two. There were substantial gaps between book 1 and 2.

Riveting story

I am thoroughly enjoying this series by Amanda Scott. Gripping, Highland Treasure has an interesting storyline with good characters (although at times I did want to strangle Mary!) and good romance without gratuitous sex scenes (unlike so many of this genre which end up being so detailed yet repetitive they leave me yawning!). Carolyn Bonneyman's narration is outstanding - nuanced & perfect for this storyline. Highly recommend!
