About this listen

Newly promoted, Detective Sergeant William Warwick has been reassigned to the drugs squad. His first case: to investigate a notorious south London drug lord known as the Viper.

But as William and his team close the net around a criminal network unlike any they have ever encountered, he is also faced with an old enemy, Miles Faulkner. It will take all of William’s cunning to devise a means to bring both men to justice, a trap neither will expect, one that is hidden in plain sight . . .

Filled with Jeffrey Archer’s trademark twists and turns, Hidden in Plain Sight is the gripping next instalment in the life of William Warwick. It follows on from Nothing Ventured, but can be listened to as a standalone story.

I am really enjoying this series. I hope it won't be long until the next book is out.

Love this book as it starts to define the main characters personality as he matures. Still a great story in this saga!

Cop stories come thick and not always so fast. This one has me in. The setting, the family, fellow cop profiles, all very good and realistic. The narration - said this one, said that one, is a bit of a pain. But all that aside is nothing when you sit back and listen to Archer describe his characters, describe his scenes, this is master class. The construction of the tale is superb, yes of course you can foresee some of the events, but this is not story-booking tale open like a country road. Jeffrey Archer if you care to study him, is a complex individual with a vast background with shall we say, a very deep cup of life that he draws on so wonderfully here as in most of his books. This Warwick series is a fresh cut, not just a retelling of past tales in a new cover, I look forward to number three - Turn a blind eye. In the meanwhile I'm pretty stoked with what I have just read for the second time around. You cannot help but be enthralled by this master of his class.

I thought this book started a little slowly, but of course Jeffery Archer created his usual twists and turns and I realised that I was enjoying it immensely.
Warrick and his family are very likeable and interesting characters.
The performance was delivered most professionally with each character being quite believable.
Thank you once again Mr Archer.

Another of Archer’s beautifully written books
