For a 30 year old story I loved it. Very 90’s and so funny. I loved the characters. Different to Nora’s latter ones but such a great book. Highly recommend!

Not really one for a soppy romance but I couldn't "put this down". The narrator had an insipid and somewhat annoying voice but rather than be annoyed, I was taken in by her portrayal of the characters. And not long in I realised the female protagonist had that EXACT voice and to boot, was and adorable character. BRAVO! 👏👏👏👏

This is such a fun involving romantic murder mystery with just enough suspense and lots of romantic tension. A perfect way to spend an afternoon. I very much enjoy her books. I also really loved The Villa and The Collector. Five stars.

Not as good as more recent publications. I found the story engaging enough, however the narrator only seemed capable of two decent voices.

This is a tacky 1980s Mills and Boon wrapped in a Nora Roberts Jacket Cover. The blatant attempt at romanticising Intimate Partner Violence is both sad and sickening. I own just about every NRoberts novel written and have never been more disappointed.
