Out of character for an Irene Hannon book
I usually love Irene Hannon books but this one bored me within an hour and was so predictable and ridiculous. I tried to finish it and couldn't. I managed half way through but I'd rather poke myself in the eye than continue to listen. such a shame! First book of hers I haven't loved.

Okay story
The story had potential, but the narrator did not have a lot of voices. All the females sounded the same. All the males sounded the same. I got lost with who was speaking. One thing that bothered me with the story is that Luke (police) shared a lot of detail with this going investigation with Kristin. Would that happen in real life?

Usually love this author but this Story died with 1hr 30min to go.
I usually like this author. I even liked the other books that have these characters. But in this one we have a story that is shaky at best on it's merits. And with 1hr 30min to go what is left of a bad story just kinda dies.
I write this to warn you away from this book, but again I encourage you check out other titles by this author. This was far from her best work.

Unfortunately predictable
The narration/performance was good, but if there was supposed to be a “twist” in the plot it was obvious through the entire book. This made the story lack suspense & it did not keep me intrigued.
This author has other books that are much better.
