Alway waiting for more to happen and I have to admit the suspense was a bit of a let down. I have been reading and enjoying Nora Roberts for years and this one just seemed to coast along. The narrator was excellent one of the best I have heard when it came to doing a variety of voices both male and female characters of varying ages in this book.

Hidden Nature is a gripping and emotionally rich novel that keeps you hooked from the very first chapter. True to Nora Roberts' signature style, the story blends romance, mystery, and suspense against a beautifully described natural backdrop. The characters are layered and relatable, the pacing is spot-on, and the tension never lets up. It keeps you on your toes and makes it hard to stop listening. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride—definitely a recommended read for fans of romantic suspense.

cliched characters that were nauseating perfect. I couldn't wait for it to finish. More of a pathetic romance story then a suspenseful thriller. Don't waste your credit.

I have thoroughly enjoyed many books by Nora Roberts/JD Robb and, given the publisher’s blurb, was looking forward to this one. However, the story was too long and i could have done without the constant references about renovating a house. Felt the main male character could have had a stronger personality, and his younger brother also. In fact the conversations between all the characters was off-putting in its sickly sweetness. The conversations between the two antagonists was nauseating and unbelievable. The conversations between the parents and daughters were not much better. Many times I wanted to give up but remained hopeful of a turnaround. Sadly, there was not one and I feel that, for the first time for a Nora Roberts book, my money was not well spent.
