This is definitely just the start of a bigger story. I loved listening to this as an audiobook, with both the amazing narration and storyline. I listened to the sample of this book and knew that this was a series that I really wanted to listen to. The female protagonist (Ariana) was super kick-ass and definitely gave being a woman a great image, with her killer skills and take no shit attitude. If you have listened to the sample or just read the blurb and think you will like this book, I would definitely recommend this as a book to read or listen to. I hope you find you love this book just as much as I do. Enjoy!

I almost finished it but I just couldn’t. The story either went jumping ahead fast or at a snails pace. I feel no connection to any of the characters and the main character is meant to be completely naive to life outside a cage but within a week is sleeping or bonding with multiple people that she doesn’t even seem to like.
