Basketball always brought them together. Now it might just tear them apart.

Axel

I always wondered what happened to my first love. But after we got caught kissing at church camp, his jerk of a father made sure I never saw him again.

Six years later, I’m streaming a college basketball game in a distant town, trying to decide if I should take a job with the athletic department there, when a familiar face in the crowd leaves me stunned. The school is a thousand miles away, in a tiny rural town. But suddenly, I can’t wait to get there.

Caxton

I can barely believe it when Axel turns up at the college where I’m a grad student. And I’m just as drawn to him as I ever was. But a few stolen kisses are all I’ll ever have. I can’t date. Loving Axel would mean letting go of my younger brothers who need me.

They can’t be together. But as far as their hearts are concerned, it's Hello Forever.

Contains: an angsty, sporty M/M romance with lots of flirting and sporty vibes.

Romance novels are the literary equivalent of dessert - often gooey, sometimes sticky, always sweet - and who doesn’t like dessert? I’ve enjoyed every Sarina Bowen m/m novel I’ve read. I warm to the characters, I find the plots engaging, and I’m hooked on the happily ever afters! Teens, Axel and Cax meet during church activities only to have their friendship derailed. Years later Axel wants to reconnect, while Cax fears the fallout of a relationship will have on his repressed family. Delicious narration by the best in the business!

Loved this!

Book was okay didn’t so much enjoy how Axel didn’t have any back bone through the whole book. Wished it was longer as I wasn’t satisfied with the ending. But as always narration by these two was great.

Enjoyed narration but wished there was more story

I like this booked. I enjoyed the story and especially enjoyed the fact that Caleb and Josh were a part of it.

A really great book

enjoyed it, not as much as book one in the series, but it was still a nice read with an easy to follow story. I didn't mind the 3rd act drama, finding it (sadly) way too believable. my only small complaint was there it felt like it wrapped up very quickly, but it was a really sweet read ;) :)

easy listening

Getting caught kissing in the woods, Caxton’s homophobic father takes him home, moves town and forces him to stop all contact. That is until 6 years later when Axel spots his face in the crowd at a basketball game on the TV at the same college he had a job offer from and that’s when he decided to take it.

Another good one, sweet and romantic but also filled with rawness and heartache, ugh so so good! The storyline was just enough although there could have been a bit more detail and explanations but eh. I also LOVED that Josh and Caleb were such big parts of this story, it made my heart warm knowing their life was filled with love👏🏼

I can say that Dake Bliss who was the narrator for Caxton did a million times better in this book then the first book which I was grateful for!
