Wealth. Power. Murder. Magic. Alex Stern is back and the Ivy League is going straight to hell.

Galaxy 'Alex' Stern is determined to break Darlington out of hell - even if it endangers her future at Lethe and at Yale.

But Alex is playing with forces far beyond her control, and when faculty members begin to die off, she knows these aren't just accidents.

Something deadly is at work in New Haven, and if Alex is going to survive, she'll have to reckon with the monsters of her past and a darkness built into the university's very walls.

Thick with history and packed with Bardugo's signature twists, Hell Bent brings to life an intricate world full of magic, violence, and all too real monsters.

I waited a long time for this book to come and it hasn't disappointed me. This book is mostly from Alex's perspective. the story is intriguing and the characters from the first book become deeper and more real.

well narrated and characters you'll love

The first half of this was slow I’ll admit. It didn’t keep me in it the way Ninth House did but I’m also obsessed with Demon Daddy Darlington so that’s probably why. Love Alex. Love Dawes. Love Turner. Tripp ♥️. Mercy 🙌🏼. Just, yes. I can’t wait to see where Galaxy and Danny Boy end up next.

I love you Leigh Bardugo

Loved this follow up. Felt like was on the edge of my seat. Alex is a survivor & if you’re not in her corner, watch the hell out. Alex & Dawes are on a mission to save Darlington & what a dark adventure they’re pulled down. Am so ready for the next instalment !

One hell of a story

Narration: fantastic, characters: intriguing, story: better than the first book, tension: leaves you wanting more (in a good way).

I’ve listened to this book and ninth house 3 times over the past year and it won’t be the last time. They actually get better with each listen as you pick up on new bits and pieces throughout.

Only disappointing thing is that this will be a trilogy and not the 12 books Leigh originally planned!

Series just gets better

Absolutely loved it! This was even better than the first book. Narrators were brilliant.

Hell bent was everything I needed it to be. Leigh’s writing is amazing and the narration was incredible.

Perfection.

Another college teen drama? I moaned internally as I began the Ninth House, but I persisted at the behest of my book club and it was absolutely worth it.

I didn’t hesitate to dive back into the world of magic and demons with hellbent, already deeply in love with the protagonist Alex, and the setting.

The narration was on point, right up until Darlington’s point of view came back in with a male narrator, jarring the flow of the prose and confusing the established voices set for so much of the book, which was my only pet peeve of the prequel.

The story was a fantastically spun web of frustrating whodunnit and devilry that kept me intrigued from start to finish.

Well worth a read, well worth a listen. Can’t wait for book three.

Great tale, well spun, fantastic sequel

This author just doesn’t miss… So glad I started reading her work! This was the 4th straight book of hers for me. Phenomenal!

Fantastic in every sense…
