Brilliant biography

I laughed at the many stories of Nirvana trolling everyone, smashing expensive equipment or starting food fights at fancy formal music industry events. The last few chapters were much more heartfelt and darker, and despite the fact that we all know how it ends, I was still in tears when the book finished. I think this is a balanced and fair depiction of Cobain, and it was an enjoyable reading.

Answer's to my teenage friends

what a harrowing story of a boy's lie struggling to be loved, who became one of our most beloved men in his adult life who found a partner whose surname was love! my teenage friends had some strange ways which I didn't understand and then as I read I understood why my classmate, who was 15 at the time passed away from what I believe to be a strange way to get high! I write this because in Kurt's young life this was what he has done too. a suggestion is to find the live performances and watch after a chapter finishes. It brings all the moments in Kurt's life to life! it breaks my heart on a friendship level and as a mum a paternal one also. I feel nothing but Adoration for Kurt and Courtney! For their absolutely beautiful daughter Frances. It's funny, when we had our little girl we too called her our little bean. I hadn't known this was the reason for Frances middle name. Thank you for telling this story more people need to understand what it's like to be such an amazing talent and hopefully see signs that say a person needs to be loved without doubt and if they need help, do your best to help them no matter how much they curse you and say they hate, true love knows no bounds!

One of my new favourites

Prior to listening to this book, I knew very little about Kurt or Nirvana aside from a few famous tracks they released. But I was absolutely hooked throughout, and so glad that I purchased. The narration was perfect also.

Not as good as I was expecting.

Maybe knowing the end made the whole story seem a bit like watching a slow-moving crash and feeling guilty for not being able to look away.
