I'm enjoying the Inspector Wexford series only read by Nigel Anthony.
Never the others

Love the Narrator Nigel Anthony

Liked the sense of reality in the narrative. The author obviously did good research to write this story and work in facts about battered women.

Many twists and curve balls

Sometimes the narrator confuses his character voices or words making it difficult to follow

Nothing, it was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Wexford at his best, his usual loveable grumblings and delightful language. Descriptive and detailed in his findings.

Intricate plot

I’m reading them in order (loving them) & they go from strength to strength, but I particularly enjoyed this one. 10/10

My favourite Wexford so far
