Intricate plot

Nothing, it was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Wexford at his best, his usual loveable grumblings and delightful language. Descriptive and detailed in his findings.

Many twists and curve balls

Liked the sense of reality in the narrative. The author obviously did good research to write this story and work in facts about battered women.
