About this listen

Perfect, happy, "Jonah the Savior", that's how most people see Jonah Taylor. What they don't always see is how incredibly overwhelmed he is with his new business or how lonely he is. When a painfully shy man enters his wellness center, all Jonah wants to do is help break him out of his shell. The problem is, the attraction he feels to the nervous, timid man is undeniable.

Cameron Vaughn has let most of his life be decided for him. A traumatic event from his past has caused him to doubt every decision he makes. When he's forced into a new, anxiety-ridden situation, his first instinct is to run. So, what is it about the owner of the wellness center that has him questioning everything he's ever been told?

Can one man convince the other he's worth saving? Can the other realize he's strong enough to save himself? Together, can they prove that what they've found is worth holding on to?

Contains mature themes.

This finale was definitely the best in a wonderful trilogy! A gym owner in Haven’s Cove, Jonah Taylor always patiently puts everyone else’s needs before his own. He’s caring and gentle and when he sees pathologically shy accountant Cameron Vaughn struggling, he reaches out. Childhood abuse has left Cameron reclusive with little self-esteem. No one listens to what he wants and they bully him into what they think is best for him … until Jonah.

This angsty romance really was an emotional knockout! Great and sensitive exploration of the fallout of abuse, two main characters perfect for one another, and a well-written set of supporting characters as well. Although the subject was heavy, I felt sad but not overwhelmed by it. There were lots of tender moments, some nice humour, and a really big heart! US voice actor Sean Crisden’s velvety voice was perfect for this, his understated style left him plenty of room to amp up the emotion when needed - superb audio narration, superb writing! Definitely the best in a wonderful series!

This was a beautiful book that had me squealing more times than I can count I definitely recommend however there is a disturbing reference to child pedaphilia in Cameron’s past that may be triggering to some but apart from that this is a beautiful story of freedom Acceptance and love ❤️ it was beautiful 😍

Beautiful and heart stopping
