This one was really good. Main character was one of my favourites ever and I loved how it all wrapped up.

I loved "Happy Place" so much. I laughed, I cried . . a LOT. . . and I lived my life alongside the characters as I listened to their story. This book tore a hole in my heart. . . . then it put it back together again at the end.
I wish I could write as well as Emily Henry. This story was full of interesting characters, and Emily created a "Happy Place" that I would have loved to have spent time in growing up.
I cannot recommend this book enough, AND the narration was excellent. I am very happy I chose to listen to the book instead of reading it, as the different characters were easily distinguished by Julia's excellent character voices.

I love this narration so much because it is so good that you just sink into the story and almost forget someone is narrating. This story is as much about FMC and her personal journey as it is about friendship as it is about family. I laughed and I cried and it soothed me in a way I cannot really put into words.

I loved Emily Henry’s other book so dived straight into this was. Was much slower paced with less happening. Not as good. Took me ages to get through as it just didn’t hook me. But still a pleasing read. Nothing heavy

Emily Henry is fast becoming a favourite author and an auto-buy author. The narrator does an amazing job with the characters. I was happy to learn she was narratoring this book as she is one of my favourites. And I will choose to listen to a book because she has read it.

Gosh I loved this book so much. Emily Henry’s writing is incredibly, as always, but this one is my favourite so far. Julia Whelan’s narration is impeccable, breathing life in to the characters. I truly think her performance made the book 10x better than if I were to read it myself. This book made my heart yearn for deep love, and the themes of deep friendship were so very touching. How beautiful.

I have to say this is my second book that I just felt “meh” after reading. Emily Henry books have been so hyped up. I really wanted to love this one but I honestly was just bored.

Huge fan of Emily Henry. I wasn’t convinced I was going to like this as much as her others but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is her best yet and Julian Whelan is awesome as usual - I could listen to her all day. The characters were on point and I resonated so much with Harriet and her feelings of being enough - Emily captured it all perfectly.
Can’t wait for your next one Emily ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've loved all of Emily's books and this one is no exception. Emily has this way of making me fall in love with her characters and sucking me into the world she creates.
Happy Place is a book that will break your heart in one chapter and piece it back together in the next one.
