This is a free first book which I love because I really like to interact with new (to me) authors.
This book has just the right narrator for the ditzy heroine. At the beginning I was a bit hesitant but as I got into the easy listening book I found I wanted to know how this self centred girl was going to stop daydreaming (which I found very amusing) and solve the case.
I must’ve enjoyed it because I purchased the second one. I don’t know if I will continue on with the series but I’m interested enough to give the second one a go.

Ditzy but funny

The overall story was ok, the villains stood out from the start so it was more a mystery of how they were going to get caught. The main character just kept dodging work, wondering why her employment was constantly at risk and complaining about how she hated work and other people. Even the things she loved (handbags) barely got descriptions, most were just Brand Name Bagtype. I don’t understand why the author wrote a character that she doesn’t seem to like at all. The narrator did her best but sometimes sounded as tired with the characters as I felt.

Protagonist is awful.
