I agree with all the reviews that this is a great book. The characters are so interesting and we find ourselves rooting for the most unlikely souls. Reader is good too. Will start on the next one tomorrow. There is so much more to learn about them all.

I enjoyed the promise of the book along the lines of Dexter but it just didn’t quite get there. Still, I look forward to book 2 to see if it wraps around book 1 story more.

Awesome from the outset… like a black and white cop thriller from the sixties. Incedibly addictive listening to those who enjoy original plots, performed with immense talent.

This is the fifth book I’ve listen to that Candice has either written or co-authored and I am loving her work. I don’t have any flash works to critique her work, other than Candice writes a fabulous story that flows well and is compelling.
I have listened to a few books narrated by Lani (most of those are Candice’s books) and I find he is the perfect match for Candice’s books.
On to the next one now...🙃
