About this listen

In late September of 1866 a former confederate soldier returned home. But his dreams of putting the battlefield and bloodshed behind him were cut short. Deep in the night he learns of an awful and terrible truth. A pair of strange men arrive and dig up the body of his recently deceased father. He quickly learns that they are not simply grave robbers. But they are in fact part of a secret organization. One dedicated to the defense of mankind.

Just when he thought his war was at an end, Jacob Baker learns the great war was nothing compared to what was coming. Now he must come to terms with the fact that the war he fought in was a lie.

He learns that the true enemy was not his fellow countrymen but something far older. He must join others from both sides of the recent conflict. Jacob is given a choice. Ignore what he has learned and return to farming. Or take up arms and once again take to the fields of battle. This time he won't be fighting against his fellow Americans. This time it's against the forces of Hell itself.
