Did not expect to like this book as the mention of zombies was enough for me to say " no thanks" when it was first released. However reviews since have been very positive so I spent a credit and yes it gets a big thumbs up from me. It was just my sort of m/m fantasty romance, closed door. This may not appeal to everyone but I prefer a good story with a lovely romance angle to go with it. The zombies werent overwhelming and not the biggest part of the story so no issues with the undead (phew). Narration was very good and a book that I will be happy to listen to again.

This is one amazing story. Such strong characters and I was thrilled to see Talon’s character in particular grow, but still keeping his smart mouth. The other character I was most impressed with was arimen - wow he made a miraculous change whilst keeping his faith. Even though this is long, it will remain a favourite of mine to keep returning too. The author Louise Masters out did herself with this one. I love every single book she has put out but this one will remain very special to me
