Publisher's Summary

My name is Medley Bell, and if you had told me this time last week that I was demon, then I’d have said you were nuttier than a squirrel turd.

Of course, that was before I started seeing the strangest things. I’ve always been a little off, but it took stumbling into a backwater bar to understand how different I really am.

So when two drool-worthy guys stop by to tell me that I’m Hell spawn just like them, I’m more relieved than shocked. I mean, it sure does explain a lot.

Now, I just have to convince my mama and daddy that they can’t come with me on my first trip to Hell, deal with a hellish biological family I never knew I had, and keep from getting kidnapped by some weird Morax fella with snakes for hair.

Things are about to get crazy around here. I guess it’s a good thing I like that.

***HELL BELLS***

Ok Medley Bell or HB (heavenly bell) find out she is a demon so of course her mom change her nick name to hells bells lol I love Amanda Stribling voicing Medley her accent is fantastic. I loved Delta as well but Medley Bell is my favourite because she is chill and just goes with the flow. No whinging and carrying on. She is the best FMC to have. very entertaining and gives u a lot of laugh out loud moments and her parents are adorable.

Brilliant continuation.

A brilliant continuation and smooth transition into Delta's story. There is a wonderful difference between Medley and Delta's personalities that is beautifully clear from the writing style alone. A bit more balance in the plot and then rushed in the romance but still enjoyable. Lots of intrigue in regards to Sable and I'm keen to read her story.
A bit more care with the recording would be appreciated. While the narrator was very good, there were times when the volume fluctuated, her voice echoed and there was a few times when background sounds filtered in. That one point in that sex scene when there was a notification sound in the background was quite off-putting.

Liked it!

What I enjoyed: TODD! Medley's parents, and overall, I liked that in this story the main character was much more accepting of what was happening to her. I understand that this is FICTION, but in the first couple books, Delta was just sooo much more "I can't handle this". I liked that Medley was more "let's do this!" Narrator: eh. She mispronounces some words here and there, and the men's voices are not different enough IMO. There are other female narrators who handle men's voices much better. These voices were somewhat the same throughout, which was a bit confusing at times. If you like this series, check out the Darynda Jones's "Charley Davidson" series, Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, Prof Croft series by Brad Magnarella, and Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. All have great stories, and great narration!

I want my own Todd

I immediately like Medley with her adorable accent and her tenacity. She takes everything in stride and takes on her role and ever changing day to day life of finding out who she really is. True to form Kennedy and Asher made this book impossible to put down with the incredible world building, sexy times and enough laughs to put you in tears. I can’t wait to meet Sable and see how everything comes together.

Amazing and addictive!

What an amazing instalment, I loved it and was up half the night 'til I finished it, I just couldn't put it down. Medley was a great character, so strong but laid back, I loved the plot twist that introduced her, and so many more surprises, the Ophidian is seriously sinister and makes a great villain! I can't wait to start the next book, this series is just too addictive!

Grave decisions

Good story line, great characters & a kickass heroine. What more could you ask for? I am looking forward to the next book but disappointed that is will be the last in the series.
