About this listen

For the first time...now in one edition...The Welsh Connection and Murder Plot.

It's the wedding of the year, and the Smith clan jet off to Disneyland Paris to witness Gerald and Wayne tie the knot in a lavish ceremony. However, where Granny Smith goes, trouble is sure to follow, and as the big day approaches, our intrepid sleuth finds herself up to her neck in the usual murder and mayhem.

Once again, the small Welsh village of Gilfach find itself the scene for a particularly brutal murder when the body of Joan Barkingsdale is found concealed in the allotments of a local radio celebrity. The police think it is an open and shut case, but Granny Smith is convinced they have the wrong man, and that there is a much more complicated murder plot to uncover. The media immediately pounce on the case given that the man accused of the grisly deed is none other than popular radio celebrity, Trevor Barkingsdale. And Granny finds herself having to fend off the world's press, as well as the ire of Chief Inspector Miskin.
