A Lotus Grows in the Mud speaks of her relationship with her family: her partner, Kurt Russell; her children, Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, Wyatt Russell, and her stepson, Boston Russell; her growing faith; her curiosity for that which she doesn't yet know; and her unquenchable thirst for knowledge and understanding. What a beautiful soul Goldie is!!
I very much enjoyed listening to every story and especially loved the delightful and meaningful little snippets of wisdom at the end of each story. Beautifully done and so inspiring. Love the fact that Goldie narrated this herself as it really brought it to life.

The beauty & compassion of Goldie
Beautifully written & special to have it read by Goldie. I've loved her since I first saw her. Her infectious laugh & personality shines with every word she utters. Wonderfully presented with pearls of wisdom. The ending came way too soon. The musical interludes were very calming & left me nodding & relating it to my own life experience as a Sister, a Mother & a Daughter.

A Beautiful Book

Very relatable
Well done Goldie for articulating what we feel as mums, wives, women. Regardless of your success I felt like you knew what I was feeling with the growth of my own children, That helps me approach it in a better way so hopefully I don’t have to be the mum that needs to be managed.
