Publisher's Summary

In a world inundated with sales books on getting to yes, this audiobook recommends just the opposite, focusing on how increasing your failure rate can greatly accelerate your movement toward ultimate success.

Go for No! chronicles four days in the life of fictional character Eric Bratton, a call-reluctant copier salesman who wakes up one morning to find himself in a strange house with no idea of how he got there. But this house doesn't belong to just anyone! It belongs to him...a wildly successful, 10-years-in-the-future version of the person he could become if he learns to overcome his self-limiting beliefs and overcome his fear of failure.

Through the dialogue of the two main characters, the authors have fashioned an entertaining story to present the key concepts essential to sales success. Listeners learn:

  • What it takes to outperform 92 percent of the world's salespeople
  • That failing and failure are two very different things
  • Why it's important to celebrate success and failure
  • How to get past failures quickly and move on
  • That the most empowering word in the world is not yes...it's NO!

Written to be intentionally short and to the point, Go for No! is a quick, fun listen with valuable lessons that can change the way you think, sell, and live!

LOVE THE SALES TIPS

Wish it didn't take so long to get to the GO FOR NO tips, I nearly gave up and returned the book because I'm not interested in reading a novel I'm just looking for sales tips. I'm sure it's well written, I don't want to discourage anyone from reading it, approx half the stories come that apply to the subject and I thank you - worth the wait !!!

I Love The Future Self Concept - It's Powerful!

I was happy to go along with this story but I did start to wonder where it was leading me and I checked the title a couple of times.
I learned a lot from the story telling about visualization and conversing with my future self. I recommend this book to you to gain a clear understanding of the future self concept as well as going for no.

Most definitely "Outside the Box" thinking.

What made the experience of listening to Go for No! the most enjoyable?

Listening to "Go for No" gives one a whole new perspective on selling. With the accepted way of thinking "Go for numbers you will get your quota", it holds one back from their best. Getting a set amount of "NOs" pushes one beyond the bare minimum and settling for just meeting your quota.

What did you like best about this story?

It was very easy to listen to.

Any additional comments?

One of the better books on selling. Gives one a whole new perspective on getting a NO. It takes the pressure off of talking to a prospective customer.

Yes!

This was the book I needed. After finishing it, I imagined myself meeting the future me, then the past me, and I understood it. I think if I was the future me, I'd hug me too. Great imagination used and it'll fire you up!

More information

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Amazing

What a wonderful book, I realised that I'm now the 10 year future me and the amount of no's I have had in the least 10 years is now why I am where I am today.
An amazing book to listen to, didn't feel like a drag, would diffently recommend, I'm going to continue going for no.

A Simple and Powerful Message

I hesitated a great deal before buying this audiobook. Would it be worth it?

It is a fantastic little book with a simple and clear message. Our relationship with failure is the wrong way around. While this is a message that most of us have begun to hear I found that it was delivered exceptionally well in this book.

It is one thing in theory and another thing in practise. This book though will be the constant reminder that I return to as I make the teaching into a stable practise in my own life.

Others disliked the story format, I however, thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing will stick in the mind more than a good story and trust me this is one teaching you will definitely want to stick.

It was definitely worth the money.

Really Enjoyed this book

Easy to listen to and well narrated. The story line is inspiring and makes you realise that going for no in Network Marketing is a great idea, after all, the numbers stack up. Without a no, there can't be a yes.

Love it! Finally I see how to get rich!

I was just a little broke boy raised by my grandmother, with no outstanding skills, without many good things happening in my life.
After listening to this book, finally I see a way for myself to get the life that I trully want.
Thank you God and thank you Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz.🙏

A long story for two key points only

There were two really good points in this, but the silly story masked those points entirely. I can't believe I wasted time out of my life on this
