The narrators definitely did an amazing job at relaying the emotions this book evokes and geez did this book bring the emotions. Highly recommend this read but definitely do look up the trigger warnings. I’m loving this book series - I’ve already downloaded the next book.

A great story. I just wish the female narrator would get her sinuses cleared as it sounds like she has a blocked nose.

Overall I'm quite enjoying this fun series. However, I've actually had to revert back to reading on Kindle (only) because the narration is killing me! Particularly the female narrator putting on Slade's voice - what even is that?! I've listened to hundreds of audiobooks and this is the first time I actually can't listen, it's just awful. How this was approved I will never understand.

I’m new to audiobooks, and can’t disagree with others about the narrator. But the story is so utterly engaging, it soaks into you and I found it hard to disengage. You work and wait for the sex scenes, and I think they are worth it. These aren’t likeable characters, they are flawed and you choose to accept them, or not. Three gripping books in, and Im addicted.

The story is a bit addicting although vey predictable. I have to finish what I started. I can't stand the narration of Auren and cringe when that narrator puts on her voice for Rip.

I enjoyed the story, although it was a bit slow at times. But extremely frustrated that the female narrator changed. The narration did not suit at all, the character voices were cringey and I struggled to finish because I couldn't get used to the female narrator. The male narrator was great. Still invested in the story but was overall disappointed by this audiobook.

Considering the MMC spends a lot of time telling FMC to take charge of her own destiny, he has a pathological need to manipulate it. This book is 90% needless and really cringeworthy smut, and 10% plot. I like smut when it serves a purpose, but it didn’t add anything to the story or character development, and wasn’t even written well. DNF
