Interesting enough story, even though I guessed some of the ending mid way through. It's a good one to listen to while doing boring tasks.

Listening to Zara tell a story is always entertaining and engaging.

How refreshing to read a good crime thriller! None of the usual cliched rubbish like 'good cop, bad cop', or some yankie cop blaming the victim & flexing his muscle, no 'not in my town' rubbish. Every character was believable & serious about the role they played. Great narration too. Only criticism is it was a bit graphic, plus the final twist was a bit much. It became a tad unbelievable at this point. It also seemed a bit rushed so poss the author knew it needed to be wrapped up.
