I enjoyed the story yes the main character was a bit dim witted or naive, but I get it. You just don’t think there are people out there with bad agendas but unfortunately there are. Good heart warming ending.

I think that some of the reviews didn’t get the point.

The story is average - rushed, as if the writer was still learning the craft. But the reading is annoying. Not the average reading of text/descriptions, but voices of female characters are offered in a manner resembling a 12 year old girl, and males like they are prematurely aged.

This is my second book from this author and I despair that her heroines are so lacking in self awareness. They’re also cowardly and wet and the reader never wants to be so frustrated with character.

What a lovely story line. I enjoyed the characters I felt I could see all the versions of landscape and property and the lovely animals. I look forward to the next story.
