Utterly enthralled with this series

Orcus Auditory's narration is the reason this series crossed my path. Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!! Kat Blackthorns writing is anything but predictable and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Orcus's narration brought every part of this to life with his evocative range of voices. Every nuance of detail character, place brought effortlessly to life by his unique brand of artistry/masterful voice!! I feel a kinship to every character and Ashgrove as a result. Cannot wait to hear what's next in this series. Kat and Orcus are a creative match made in heaven. Bravo one and all!! incredible work as always O ❤

Predictable and generic

The FMC was annoying and unlikeable. Very much a "pick me/I'm not like other girls" vibe. Main MMCs were also annoying but I think it has to do with the narrators voices for each of them. Also the dialogue was extremely cringe inducing.

Overall this was predictable, cliche and way too trope heavy. I sooooo wanted to love this but it was an absolute struggle to get through and I regret wasting a credit on it. Probably won't finish the series
