About this listen
The purpose of GENESIS: The Novel is to highlight God’s history with human beings. My target audience is the curious - agnostics and believers alike. I wrote the book to present the biblical stories of the book of Genesis in the form of a novel. Telling a story with full disclosure of the doubts, fears, and weaknesses of a biblical character is my intention. I believe that’s how the listener can identify with each one of them and be inspired.
The biblical narratives mostly seem to come from a male perspective. To give a more balanced account of the biblical events I honed in on the female experiences also. The story of Jacob’s daughter Dinah is a good example.
My goal is to introduce God in a fresh way that inspires people to dig deeper and seek out the Lord of the universe.
