If only it had been a bit longer

Wonderfully read and full of amazing facts. Can’t recommend enough. Left me wanting more (and it was a bit short tbh).

Naturally, it's quite interesting

Fun trivia. However, it would be great if they could give measurements in metrics as well (especially as they mention that the UK use metric).

Great fun facts for easy reading or listening

Great alternative to my usual book of the year. It is perfect listening for the dailey commute. I arrive to work every day with slightly more knowledge than yesterday.

More!

More please!
Big fan of No Such Thing As A Fish and QI, and now this also. Great to listen to while I'm just pottering around.

Interesting but dry

A fun collection of interesting facts, but the audio performance is extremely bland when compared to the QI team's "No Such Thing As A Fish" output, and the constant sound effects which accompany each fact are extremely jarring.

Engaging

Misses the banter of NSTAAF, but still entertaining.

I think Anne has the best voice for this format.

It would have been interesting to use the book as a basis for a group discussion for the audio version rather than narrate it verbatim.

If you are used to live podcasts from the Fish...

... you will find this somewhat under-whelming. The factual material is still as diverse and interesting as ever, but there's no life to this. Honestly, it could be being read by a computer's speech-software. I do understand that COVID made the production of anything difficult in 2020, but perhaps this would have been best left as a book. Sorry guys.

Should have just stayrd a book

It is what it is, a book full of light hearted facts, but some awful narration here........one female in particular. Rather disappointed.
