I loved the story of two broken hearted people finding their way to each other despite the circumstances and many issues they each had to deal with.

Not even sure where to begin. One could feel what it’s like to be in Daphne’s shoes and the way Julia has narrated this book is amazing. Also, she’s probably one of the best female narrator who can do a man’s voice so well. LOVE IT.

This is my favourite Emily Henry book! I've read most of them. I really enjoyed the main characters Daphne and Miles. Their banter when getting to know each other was the best I've read in a romance, so funny. You could feel their connection forming through the page. Absolutely brilliant. I was giggling. I listened to the audiobook in one day (oops). The audiobook narrator did a fantastic job. The sex scenes and the 'charged' scenes were really hot. I'm a little mixed on the trauma parts. There needed to be more 'showing' and less telling around this. I. E. Less monologuing and more demonstration of these traits/where they come from. Having said that, I did appreciate that she gave the characters depth and the traits felt natural.
Overall, this is a near perfect romance for me.

A beautiful love story for all those 30 something who find themselves in the midst of rebuilding their lives when it all doesn’t go to plan. This book is a wonderful celebration of the imperfect while also delivering a seriously fun and sexy read. Additional bonus: Incredible voice acting by the narrator.
