Publisher's Summary

An early morning hotel fire turns out to be anything but routine for firefighter Reid Webb, as her best friend and partner, Jimmy Grant, dies. Feeling responsible for the loss, Reid vows to look after Jimmy's young son - even if that means spending far too much time in the company of a woman she harbors feelings for.

Lacking details and substance

The story was good but there was very little detail around each event. I felt like I was simply skimming through a book and only reading the highlights.

Good narration of a solid story.

Treat yourself and listen to this well done performance by AJ Ferraro. I am a first time listener of this narrator and will look for more of her work. I find Erin Dutton's stories consistently entertaining and I was happy to hear this story narrated so well.

Decent Book.

Overall decent book. The story line was a little formulaic but I still enjoyed it. The narrator was also good. If you're looking for a quick and easy listen, this is the book for you.
