A dark and powerful story, and Dan Stevens a wonderful actor who brings it to life beautifully.

I felt such a range of emotions listening to this. Dan Stevens did a WONDERFUL job at putting all the expressions in and I really felt for Frankenstein’s Monster. 100% recommend this audiobook and this story in general. So beautifully written for such a sad story.

Poor monster. 😭😭😭 heartbreaking book. So different to the modern day interpretations of Frankenstein’s monster. Wonderful reading.

I've been meaning to read this classic for years. It was different to what I expected, and I loved it! Aesthetically sublime and philosophical. wonderful performance/narration which enhanced my experience.

You can really tell that Dan Stevens is passionate about this text and it comes through completely in his performance. This Audiobook was a great listen and enhanced my experience of Frankenstein greatly. Highly recommend!

The story is written in such a beautiful and poetic language and narrated in equally a beautiful way.
My only criticism is this: the narration of ‘the wretch’ was a little overdone at times.
Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and would recommend it to anyone wanting to tick this off their list!
