I have loved this series. I’m sad that it is over. It could have kept going. I’m hoping that more stories will follow with the possibilities being endless. This book was so well written, with the female lead staying strong and powerful the whole way through. I’m sure it is going to be a series I go back to time and again.

overall this book is entertaining. plot is a bit predictable also the character dynamics but what really lets it down is the narrator. she tends to mix up character voices and is not plugged into the main character and her emotions. she not the worse I have listened to but she does nothing to compliment this story

Too many loose ends left swinging in the wind. Was this the final book? Because if it is, what's with that ending? What about Isaac and the woman that Ayln was supposed to send his way? And what about the bond guy in Saint City who abruptly left? I was sure he was going to be one of the chosen, given that dramatic exit.

I find I want more of these characters and this world—the writer did a good job there. Funny banter. Strong plot. Although the RH elements were a bit sugary at times, they balanced between believable and unbelievable without overwhelming the story. I hope the writer continues the series. I could see the illusion scene play out like I was watching a TV show. Well written.

The narrator did a good job considering the large cast of characters.
