Avery was so well written that the connection and investment in the character is immediate. I love how she develops, with Cole’s and Hekate’s help, but especially within herself.
The story was well paced and immersive that you were glued to it start to finish. The blurb made a lot of the twists obvious and a little less impactful, but didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the story or the love for the characters.
