Publisher's Summary

Have you ever heard of the curse of the middle child? It's real, and it makes you invisible. Growing up in a house with three headstrong witches, I was usually stuck playing the mediator.

When I met Rikkon, I immediately felt a kinship to him. He wasn't invisible like me, but in a sense, he was forgotten. We bonded over things we couldn't control. He was struggling with his demons, and I was lost.

It was easy to fall in love, but that was when things got complicated. When I thought we could be more than friends, Rikkon's past came to rip my hopes to shreds. He recovered his memories, and with it, the knowledge that he was never free to be mine. Someone else had staked a claim, a bond so strong, that no mortal human could break.

Foolishly, I made a vow to help Rikkon reunite with his true mate, not realizing that by doing so, I might have unleashed the wrath of Ellnesari in our world.

Contains mature themes.

Loved this

Been waiting for this 😁 Loved this! Rickon's and Miranda's story is a naturally difficult one. This is a new twist on the fated mate trope for me and loved the strife.

Enjoyable ride

I liked this third part of blueblood vampires series really really much. It was exiting and interesting fantasy romance story. Takes you away from your everyday life nicely.

Good listen

I really liked this book but not as much as the first two. I liked the character evolution and the sexy times were yum. I’m excited for the next story.

Decent read

I just thought this one was was ok. Which is disappointing because I was so looking forward to the world of the Nightingales. Had some really great elements but it was just so so for me. Still a very intriguing world and worth the credit.

She is 17 in high-school???

I tried to get over the fact that she was 17 and he is somewhere in his 20s, immortal, an ex drug dealer/user with adult life experience. However, the writing constantly reminds you how she's 17 and lives at home with her mom attending high school. The romance is awkward and the plot a little boring. I almost never stop a book after getting halfway through.

Love the series

Loved the series but this book wasn’t the greatest. A lot of repeat verses. But this book wouldn’t be right if not in the series but would have loved to of seen a better plot. The series is a most read all together 💜

uggg...at times difficult to get through

All I can say is I'm over teenager anxst. Miranda is an annoying teenager that is always mad at Rickcon...for the entire duration of the story. Her POV makes it hard to get through the book. Wish the author would've made her grow up as the story progressed because Hercules writting style in the first 2 books was very entertaining.
This story was OK, not great.
