I enjoyed this second book in the 'of Dragons and Fae' far more than the first one. I knew the character and was invested to see where they were headed next. I enjoyed the politics and romantic journey of the characters as they tried to navigate the new world they were plunged into. I loved being able to get to know some of the side characters from book one as we saw their POV and adventures. I loved that we got to explore the water Fae (I'm a water bug), especially the underwater scenes, they were fun!
This series is definitely for adults in that it has some language and scenes I wouldn't be recommending for kids, but if you like a bit of spice, not too much (though I assume there will be more in the next book), then this is a fun one to read.
I'm looking forward to book three and seeing where the conclusion of this one leads.

Loving the story so far and I am on the edge of my seat when anything spicy starts to happen!

Only thing I didn’t like was throughout the story some of the characters mumble or speak under their breath or even whisper and either Jake or Bridget speak so low I can hardly hear them. Even with headphones on, it’s not a big deal but just made it hard for me to get into it.
