Publisher's Summary

Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be? In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he's an incurable romantic with an XL heart - and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well.

Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material. So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can't wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.

It's so romantic. Violet is totally stoked to set a date. Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding and their mothers stop colluding on stadium-sized venues. Whichever comes first.

Forever Pucked is a follow-up to Pucked (The Pucked Series, Book 1). While it is not necessary to have listened to Pucked Up (book 2) or Pucked Over (book 3), it is highly recommended to that you listen to Pucked first.

love love it

In all honesty, Violet is who we all want to be. Just plain honest be it loving your fiancé's mc or just talking about everything and accidentally oversharing with friends, its bound to happen.
How this couple navigate through the accident that hits Alex sideays and changes the dynamics for a whle is great, vulnerable and so real. fears arise, communication becomes even more honed and learning to love through highs and lows so shot gun weddings can be the cherry on top.
i just loved it so muuuch.

not as great as the first book but still enjoyable. Violet seems less independent in this book than the first

Say no to the girl narrator

Um I can't finish this book it's boring for some reason. The women narrator made it hard to listen to I wanted so bad to finish it but she made it boring more than it was. Jeremy was good. I hope she doesn't use this lady again so not worth listening to her. She sounded tired and voice was eh plus read sort of fast.

I wanted to so bad to listen to it I may have to get it on ebook. Because I cannot listen to it on audible ugh!

Narrator is all wrong

I can't even make it through the first chapter. The female narrator is ALL WRONG for Violet. I think she is trying to sound younger, but is coming off as a ditzy valley girl, which is so not Violet. I'm sure it is an awesome book, but I'm having to return it. I'll have to just buy the book and read it

Super MC and Beaver are FOREVER

Would you consider the audio edition of Forever Pucked to be better than the print version?

The audiobook of FOREVER PUCKED is the perfect COMPANION to the print version. I love reading and listening at the same time, and being able to laugh out loud freely while the audiobook goes on is the best!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Violet of course! She's QUEEN! Well, Alex too. They both are the funniest and sexiest couple! And together they are the BOMB!! I love how understanding Alex is and I love how much Violet is able to compromise for their relationshio. I just love those two #TeamBeaver #TeamMC

What about Emily C. Michaels and Jeremy York ’s performance did you like?

They both are great narrators. I like how their performances made this audiobook as entertaining as the book actually is. I love how Emily's voice sounded so how Violet sounds in my head and Jeremy did a perfect work for Alex. I really liked the change of narrators from Pucked and Forever Pucked. I liked the first ones but this new readers are perfect for Vi and Alex. And they had a plus, the hot scenes were hotter, the funny scenes were funnier and the inflexions they made for the secondary characterss were awesome! Like I said, this audiobook was the perfect companion for the book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Oh God, I'd give my first born to Helena Hunting if she got a deal to make a movie of this series. The tag line would be the same title of the book, because Vi and Alex are forever pucked! <3

Any additional comments?

I loved repeating Forever Pucked. This series has been on top of all the series I've read and every addition to it's better than the previous one. In my third time repeating this book I paid attention to different details than the previous times, like the secondary characters Randy and Lily, Miller and Sunny, and Darren and Charlene. But I had a particular interest in getting as much details as I could get of Lance Romance Romero #TeamLance He's not the guy I thought he was, he has depth in his personality that I NEED TO KNOW! I need a book by him right now!!

Why mess with perfection?

Why change the narrators? These 2 have nothing on Muffy Newtown and Nathan Everett. This series really ended on a low note.

Super MC + Beaver

This was a sexy and hilarious continuation to Alex and Violet's story. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments thanks to Violet's lack of filter and Alex and Violet's mothers. I can't even imagine discussing (let alone being present!) for some of the overshares that take place in this book! It's not all laughs though and there are some truly emotional and touching chapters. It really solidified the love that these two share for each other and gave a beautiful glimpse into the future. The ending and how everything came together was perfect for Violet and Alex and the lack of hives was a definite bonus. Alex is especially swoony and sweet (and vulnerable) in Forever Pucked and there is no lack of Super MC and Beaver action! ;) Fans of this original Pucked couple will not be disappointed with this one!

I loved that all the other Pucked couples and characters like Randy, Lily, Miller, Sunny, Charlene, Darren, and Lance also make appearances. I especially enjoyed Sunny's surprise announcement and also all the mystery surrounding Charlene and Darren's relationship and her pearl necklace. Lance's unexpected role in the wedding was a great treat. My curiosity is in overdrive now for Lance's and Charlene and Darren's stories!

I switched back and forth between the audio and ebook versions of this. I felt that both Jeremy York and Emily Michaels did a good job narrating, but I can't say that I loved them as Alex and Violet. Emily Michaels' voice didn't quite match the spunk and quirk of Violet and though I liked Jeremey York more, sometimes his performance felt flat. Because of this, things just felt a little off for me and I found myself reading the book more than listening. It was still an ok listen, but I'm not sure it's worth a credit unless you're a big Alex and Violet lover.

Perfect wrap up

Pucked is one of my favorite funny romances. I love the characters and the writing style. The innuendos and constant sexual references. Freakin hilarious.

Forever Pucked was no different. It was everything I expected it to be. Violet is so funny and has such a unique view on life and Alex is the man that loves her in spite of her quirks. you throw in the gang and a wedding to be planned and there is hilarity at every corner.

Emily Michaels is a really good narrator, I just think her voice sounds too old to be a young and spunky Violet. Jeremy York is also a really good narrator and he was great for Alex.

Redundant and ridiculous dialogue

If the dialogue in this story was in the first book of the series I would have gotten only book one . Violet went from quirky in book one to ridiculous in this story. The over use of certain terminology was tiresome. Some themes in the series were moved forward in this story but for the most part this story was boring.

More Alex and Vi, yes! More sex talk, No! Too much

First off, I listened to the audio version and both narrator did great; especially the female narrator. There's a female narrator for Violet's chapters, and a male narrator for Alex. I'd recommend the listening experience if you choose to read this.

I love the connection between Violet and Alex, and that's mainly why this got a 4 star. I was pretty lenient with the rating because of how adorable they are together. Pretty much the only scenes I liked are those between Violet and Alex. I love how much they support each other, and Alex is just a total sweetheart. He loves Violet so much, and I loved seeing Violet step up for him when he needed it. I was really disappointed with how Hunting made Violet in the previous 2 books. I liked her in the 1st book, but then Hunting made her into this horrible caricature of a person. There's still some of that, but she was better in this one.

What doesn't work for me, is that I think Hunting's humor and I don't vibe. Everything is just sex, sex, sex, that's all the girls talk about. Everyone is a sex addict, and have difficulty controlling themselves. There's so much of it, that I was just so tired of it all. I was super tired of the whole super MC stuff, and dressing up their private parts. So, yeah I don't like the humor. I guess it's suppose to be funny, but yeah, I don't think it is. I don't really like any of the other characters besides Alex and Violet. Charlene and Violet are supposed to be besties, but Charlene doesn't even talk to Violet about her relationship. Charlene is also always trying to push what Darren and she like sexually on Violet and Alex's relationship. Not everyone needs to have kink in their relationship. It doesn't need to be leather, chains, and "pearl necklaces". Violet and Charlene's friendship is surface. Charlene and Darren's book is coming soon, and it seems it will have a BDSM type scenario. I don't think I really care about their story, but I may check it out. Lily and Randy pretty much just hump each other through this whole book. I actually like Miller, but I don't like Sunny. Originally, I thought Hunting did a dis-service to Sunny by not having her POV in their book, but the more scenes with Sunny, I think I would've hated to read her POV, so kudos to Hunting for letting the whole book be Miller's POV.

I like the storyline for Forever Pucked, and it is entertaining. If you liked the rest of the series, you'll probably like this. If you are new to the series, I'd recommend reading at least the first book in this series, so you get the full back story for Alex and Violet. I'd probably skip Lance's book, but I had already bought it before I realized that I don't like the "humor" in this series, so I'll probably skim to the good parts. I just realized there's another book of Lily and Randy up next, which based off of the reviews, it's pretty much just sex, so I'm going to skip that one. If I some how get it free, then maybe, but I'll be skimming over all the sex scenes. It's all just too much.

Just OK

Not my favorite out of the series, kind of slow going in the beginning. Didn't really get into it until almost halfway through then it started getting better. It was nice including updates on all the other characters throughout this one. As far as narration, well....I wish they had used the narrators from Pucked since this is essentially book 2 of Violet and Alex's story. I truly enjoyed them much more than these two. Emily Michaels did an OK job, but not as good as Muffy Newton in Pucked. Jeremy York is just not a good narrator. I try to avoid any books narrated by him if I can. He just sounds too feminine for someone trying to be a strong male character. Someone once compared him to the guy in Silence of the Lamb with his creepy voice and I must say I agree. At times I could totally hear him saying, 'Hello Clarice'. Lol.
