I was impressed by the deeply loving connection between all three for each other. This seemed a bit deeper and more sensitive than often conveyed in poly books. There was sex but it wasn't a shopping list of how many combinations and positions they could get into, as so many in this subgenre do. Rather love was the prime focus.
I also liked that they didn't have a Dom participant who controlled thongs (again as often happens in the subgenre). Instead there was a feeling of respect and equality. It also painted the support people in their lives and in the hockey industry as accepting in a way that models how things could be in a better world.
The three narraters were all excellent and really elevated the material. The tone in their delivery underlined the gentle respect between them. Recommended.
