I enjoyed the first audiobook, but the change in narration here completely disrupted the continuity for me. Samantha Summers narrated the first book alone, and adding Soren Gray created a tonal shift that made the listening experience feel disconnected from the previous installment. I also didn’t enjoy his delivery at all, it gave me the ick. If I continue the series, I’ll likely switch to reading it on my Kindle instead.
