The storyline felt a bit rushed. Her mum dies and about ten minutes after, they are having sex, a state of play conversation about their relationship and a family moment where the kid calls him daddy for the first time. Yeesh.

I loved this story, I loved the structure and the way it all came together in the end. This novel had me laughing and crying. Both narrators did an amazing job!
