About this listen

This is book one in a new series from best-selling romance author Molly McAdams. In the Brewed series, each standalone novel focuses on one of the Dixon boys - the hottest bachelors around. What everyone doesn’t see is the strain threatening to destroy their family and their parents’ dream - permanently.

Based in a small, country town, the Brewed series is filled with tension, excitement, and passion - feuds will transform into romances, and chances will be given again in true McAdams fashion.

A story within a story is always a way to keep you interested and this one has that with both main characters. Keeps you intrigued to the end.
Other reviewers have not enjoyed the narration however I’ve listened to both of them before and get that it is a little monotone but wouldn’t say it was grating it just their way and you soon adjust.
As it’s a free book it’s definitely worth the time and I wouldn’t have been disappointed if I had paid for it.

I really rated this book. First time reading this author, and found it through my love of these two narrators. Plenty of depth and a bit of spice. Worth the read.

I really loved all the characters, and have to say it was awesome having their back stories revealed without the over reliance on flashbacks too many writers foist on us. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Truly captivating storyline. I enjoyed the unusual status of each person and their lives they shared. I couldn’t wait to finish the book it was very complex and very true of life.

I found the female narrator painfully annoying at times. reading like she was broadcasting the news in a monotone voice

Absolutely loved this story. So sad, passionate, romatic, suspensful and exciting. Ray goes on a bit but still a good story. The male characters are so brudy, lovable and charismatic they are hard to resist.

Captivating

Love, hopelessness, helplessness, abandonment, and leaps of faith feature in this story.

Decisions parents make, its long and lasting impact especially on someone as young as 3 and the subsequent events afterwards, influenced into adulthood.

Male voice was fine .
Not too fond of the female voice as she elongates end word pronunciations and this irritates and grates me to hear.

Otherwise, good

Heart wrenching truth about our self belief and how it influences decisions made
