About this listen
We hooked up. I had his baby. He never found out—until now.
Lucca Pixon is the hockey player everyone dreams about being near—and being with. And, yes, I secretly had his baby.
The truth could cost me my career and get him into trouble, too, so the single mom life is how I’ve been surviving. That is, until I’m given an assignment. It looks like Luc has gotten himself into trouble again, and it’s my job to write about it.
The last thing I should do is randomly show up before a hockey game with a baby in a stroller and tell Luc he’s the father.
Spoiler alert: that’s exactly what I do.

Bit long but a nice read
Who can fault tall, muscled giant men? With a baby too. Swoon swoon swoon. Enjoyed these 2 fumble their way through love and parenting.

This book was a beautiful love story and second chance. An amazing tale of a man that did what he needed to with an awesome passion and love

Entertaining - funny!
I was pleasantly surprised by this audiobook's humor, thanks to Patrick Zeller's hilarious performance. His sarcastic tone and character impressions stole the show. Unfortunately, the female (Heather Stonewell) narrator's voice came across as grating and made characters sound unlikeable. Despite this, the entertainment value and humor shone through.

The S is silent!
Good story. Ok narration but the pronunciation of Isla is totally frustrating. The S is silent just like island!!

sleazebag main character
narrators were fine but the actual book ... yuck. The male main character was a sleaze who made me nauseous and gave me chills. I didn't get far into the story and I DNF.

Painful to listen to
How many times in a paragraph can you possibly use the word ‘said’. I said, Julie said, he said, Sidra said, I wanted to scream at one point (chapter 16 or 17terrible). The narrators really made it extra painful when trying to do other characters. Chalk meet board. The characters just seemed immature and juvenile
