Mr. Baldacci's books are jigsaw puzzles of intersecting events, not simple whodunits. First Family is no exception.
What Baldacci does best is provide thrills, chills, and suspense. This novel is a total surprise from beginning to end.

I have purchased an audiobook to listen to the story as written by the author not utterly ruined by sound effects that are distracting or confusing and utterly patronising .

Please stop ruining the authors work and my enjoyment of an audiobook by trying to make it something it is not.
