Summary

One of my fav authors for when I feel like an escapist story. I've read a few now and enjoyed them all equally. I think the narrator is great - despite the inflection which seems to bug others. We all have dislikes and preferences but I actually enjoy his narrations. I do understand the criticism though- I have other pet dislikes which make it impossible for me to listen to some narrators, such as harsh or nasal or high-pitched voices but this guy has a very comfortable tone and pace for me. I also find him believable. Still haven't forgiven him for using an Aussie accent for Mark the Kiwi, in the last book though! :)

Awesome highly recommend it is that good I could not stop listening. These two make an unstoppable combination and have loved everything these two have done together

Andy McNab has the neat trick of explaining an upcoming operation down to finest details and then having his protagonist 'Nick Stone" dropped 'in the shit' as or soon after the operation begins. McNabs writing style also uses the unique 'I'm telling this story the way I talk' style which is refreshing. Funny, brutal and from someone who has seen and done extraordinary things, Firewall does not disappoint and still remains readable and relevant in 2025.

Not a bad follow one from the previous book. I'm glad there was another author to choose from as Paul Thornley is the better of the two choices?.

I really enjoyed every second and was read well helped me imagine i was Nick Stone. I really enjoy Andy Mcnab stories he's a really good artist i especially liked Bravo two zero
