um a bit of a let down
slow and kinda silly until the last few chapters and needs to be read at x1.2 or x1.5 spread as the narration is just as slow and irritating definitely not up to par with the previous books in this series but the last 10 or so chapters are worth a look.

Fire in his fury
This one was so slow to start. There was really no story line untill chapter 22. Before that it was just very graphic sex scenes. To which got boring and I started to fast forward through. Loved the ending though and got super excited towards the end. Looking forward to the next one.

***Oh my drakoni***
Amy and Rast love story is so beautiful. I felt both their intense emotions specially Amy feeling unwanted and useless, it is so amazing how she wishes for her prince charming to come rescue her and freeher and swept her off her feet and take her away. But instead she got Rast lol a battled scarred commander who works under the evil salorian(i really hate those creeps). Thanks to the narrators their excellent as always.

fairy meet military
it almost spoke for itself that Amy was going to do something stupid. however Rast is stubborn, grumpy, and selfish, but unlike the other Dragons before him, he has more memories and is keenly aware of the enemy. it also allows him to think more like a human as far as family is concerned. he's a lot more amiable when it comes to his mates thoughts and actions. and by the end, I'm impressed with rast and he's become my favourite dragon.
Amy gets smarter as the story moves along and Ruby cleverly writes the continuation by adding a new fort.
while the first part of the book is the h and H getting it on and getting to know each other. there is some lol humour which is a surprise seeing as Rast is so ornery.
the last quarter of the book is more pacey and threads the next book like a needle.
