Publisher's Summary

In the aftermath of a deadly alien invasion, a band of survivors fights on....

For Hawk pilot Finn Erickson, flying is in the blood. Since the aliens decimated the planet, he spends most of his time flying Hell Squad into combat. With communication to other survivor bases cut off, he has no idea if his family is still alive and feels their loss keenly. But helping to fight back sustains him, and his quadcopter is the only woman he needs. She doesn't argue with him...unlike a certain redhead who is one hell of a kisser.

Lia Murphy lost her mother and sister in the invasion. She vows never to get emotionally involved with anyone again, and as head of the drone team, she's always busy with work. But one cocky, arrogant pilot pushes all her buttons. When Finn issues a challenge - a fly-off in the flight simulator - she can't resist. But she's not sure if she can accept what he demands as his prize if he wins...her. In his bed for one night.

But as Finn and Lia's fiery attraction heats up, so does the battle with the aliens. The pair must work together to reestablish communications with other humans and discover what the aliens are hiding in a mysterious area to the north. In the process, they will face the most dangerous alien creature yet, and be tested to their very limits....

Excellent

Book 10 of Hell Squad called Finn is about Hawk pilot Finn Erickson and Lia Murphy also a former pilot. There attraction burns hot but both resist it until Finn makes a bet with her and the winner if it is Lia keeps two new really good pilots or if it is Finn he gets Lia in his bed for night, Finn wins and from there the attraction between the two ignites into a red hot inferno. The two must work together to place a communication device deep in the ocean so the enclave can communicate with other survivors around the planet and in doing so they face an alien kraken and other terrible concoctions, they are successful and the fiery passion between them will no longer be denied and both must face loving again in the midst of an apocalypse. Another brilliant edition to the series full of action, humans, aliens and scorching hot attraction and humour that had me laughing out loud. I highly recommend the book and the series as a whole.

a lot more action

this was back in the action department, although one part of the drama was a bit stretched but hey...so are aliens decimating Sydney.
this was a wonderful HEA better than the others...and the story progresses.
Sam narrated brilliantly as usual. Jeffrey is fantastic and although he's attempted the British accent he's not that great, but you could say devlin has a bit of an American accent. it's just addictive. the story goes on. and so do I
