Publisher's Summary

When soccer all-star Jax Avery collides with Dani Hart on his 21st birthday, their connection is instantaneous and explosive. For the first time in years, Jax isn't interested in his usual "hit it and quit it" approach. But Dani knows better. Allowing herself a night to be carefree and feel the intensity of their attraction won't change anything when it comes to dealing with a player. So when Jax doesn't recognize Dani the next time he sees her, it shouldn't be a total shock. The fact that he's her new roommate's brother? That's a shock.

Dani doesn't regret that night with Jax, just the need to lie about it. Since her roommate has made it clear what she thinks about her brother's "type" of girl, the last thing Dani wants is to admit what happened.

Jax knows he's walking a fine line on the soccer team. One more misstep and he's off the roster, his plans to go pro be damned. Except he can't seem to care. About anything...except for the one girl who keeps invading his dreams. Despite Jax's fuzzy memory of his hot hookup with his sister's friend, he can't stay away from her, even if that means breaking his own rules. But there are bigger forces at work - realities that can end Dani's college career and lies that can tear them apart. Jax realizes what he's losing if Dani walks away, but will he sacrifice his future to be with her? And will she let him if he does?

Another good one

Good listen and well worth the credit.
I wasn't ready for it to end. This book is complete enough but I would have liked it more if Jax dealt with his pass and mother. After listening to the first book in the series the bar was set high for me. I was really excited that this one was from a 2 person POV but it seemed to lack the details that did not include the other character. With that said it's still a good story I just didn't get emotionally invested in what each character was going through and feeling.

Packs some emotional punches!

What an incredible book! I was not expecting quite this level of emotion but holy cat’s was it ever worth the ride!

I thought I’d loved Clementine and Gavin from Dearest Clementine, and I did, don’t get me wrong, but there was something about Jax and Dani that just took it to the next level for me. Maybe it’s as simple as the fact that I am powerless against a reformed bad boy. Maybe it’s just that their story was so lovely, full of sparky banter and playful flirting. Maybe it’s that my heart can’t resist these emotional punches no matter how bruised it winds up in the end.

In any case, I adored this story! And it was another delightful auditory experience as well. The narration was flawless and I lost myself in it for hours at a time. Definitely recommend!

Oh Jaxx

This book was enjoyable. I liked the narration. Their is one thing I just don’t like and it’s the story line of the player boy who never wants a relationship sleeps with every girl he meets, turned into the “yep I want to be her husband” type. I feel like this is over done in story lines and just not realistic. With that sad I still liked this story and was happy I listened to it!

Both characters were well portrayed. I liked seeing the different POV. Tbh in most stories I hate going back and fourth but it worked really well for this and gave us a better rounded picture.

Over all good performance and story.

Finding Dandelion

Where does Finding Dandelion rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best books I listened to.The chemistry between Daniel and Jax was obvious while reading the book . Arielle DeLisle & Nelson Hobbs narrated the book in a great way that enhanced the connection between them and the enjoyment from the book.

Which character – as performed by Arielle DeLisle and Nelson Hobbs – was your favorite?

I loved both Daniel and Jax.Daniel was a kindhearted , nice person and the way Arielle narrated her was spot on.I enjoyed Daniel the sweetheart as well as the woman struggling to move past the loss of a parent and the end of a relationship.Daniel the sports fan who loves to watch any game, who is a great sexter, who is afraid of scary movies but isnt afraid to open her heart to Jax.All facets of Danni's character came through in the audiobook.Jax was also accurately narrated as the soccer star who falls for the sweet girl, his fear of commitment, the mistakes he makes and his journey of letting go of the past and winning Daniel back.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.Finding Dandelion is filled with humor, strong female characters who support one another, great sexting and is a great book to pass the time with.

Any additional comments?

Finding Dandelion is the perfect entertainer. Highly recommended.
