A quick and relatively fun read.
The three financial statements that are fundamental to any understanding of business and investing--the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement--are thoroughly explained and explored in clear and simple terms with a deft touch of whimsy in this book. Financial terms many take for granted are effectively defined.

Remarkable addition.
This is an excellent book, but the Kindle edition falls short. Everything you always wanted to know about a financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements etc and how they all are interlinked. Brief and direct on descriptions and always followed by an example. Typically after a brief description of a finacial transaction, changes on balance sheets, cash flow or income statements are broken down into numbered steps that are directly highlighted in the effected statement.

Brilliant book about Financial Statements
This book tied together almost all of the pertinent concepts from the textbook into a very concise reference using simulated transactional examples. Although this book could be read and understood by someone with little or no experience with accounting concepts, I think it is much more appropriate for someone with at least fundamental conceptual understanding.
