Overall glad I read it, but slow to get into.

I was under the impression this was a psychological thriller, but I guess I was wrong.
I liked Jonty the cat, and how the author describes anxiety/fear.
The voices were a little odd for some of the characters.
Overall a good read, just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Fantastic story and narrator

I really enjoyed this. It was just a tiny, little bit unbelievable but I appreciated the complexity of characters and that the author really gave us something different. The narration was superb.

slow but with a twist

you will wonder whether anything ever happens in this book and yes indeed there is an interesting twist towards the end, overall though it’s a rather slow read and the author could have done better with the idea of a character surviving a suicide attempt and shown what drives to the decision and how it impacts the lives of all involved, there is an attempt at doing that but not a good one

Great exploration of worthwhileness.

I was not confident that the theme of death would suit me. However I really loved this book. It's multi dimensional and has a mystery to solve which I like. I am looking forward to more from this Australian author. Also I liked the australian voice of the reader very much and how he managed female voices.

Love a Great Aussie Fiction

This was my first time experiencing the fantastic storytelling talents of Sarah Bailey and I loved it..done and dusted in 2 days. A great storyline even better being read by Ian Bliss. I will be looking for more of both.

Put my knee injury out of my mind for a bit

Really good. Plot engaging and not predictable and emotions of all characters powerfully evoked. Hope all ballet schools are not so dodgy!
