Beautifully written and narrated, this story was a joy to listen to. The foot deviated enough to be interesting but followed along a similar path which was pleasing. The dialogue was cleverly twisted in an entertaining manner and I recommend it.

Lovely story! Very well written... such a good imitation of Austen's language it feels like it could have been written by Jane herself. It was very enjoyable to listen to this alternate story where the Bennet's family home is badly burned and causes events to follow a different course. Characters are very in-keeping with the originals. Some clever references to original speeches, with some interesting twists. My favourite P & P variation of several I have listened to.
