I found a lot of the story quite superficial but enjoyed a lot of its unexpected turns - A sassy Egyptian dragon with a nack for IT; A relationship where she is the brutal warrior and he is the level headed leader. I think the stories had a lot of potential but fell flat in the telling of them unfortunately.
The narrator was quite difficult to get past. She stubled over words at times, forget to pause at the end of sentences, and seemed to get his/her and he/she mixed up so that I often got confused as to who was on top half the time. (that last one though could be the writing not the narration) This all leads me to believe that she is very new to this job and had little to no critical feedback during this production.
I wouldn't mind listening to the sequel series but I can guarantee it will not be for a while.
